Default How to get to the HoM?

I just upgraded my original version of the game with all of the expansions and cannot figure out how to get to EotN. It looks like I only have some of...Ascalon... maybe explored.

If starting in Prophecies you cannot get to EoTN until you reach Lion's Arch. I reccomend starting your character from Factions instead of Proph. Char progression in Proph is VERY slow while the entire factions campaign (from level 1 to finish) can be done easily in a few days of casual work.

You just have to reach level 10 on your character then head to LA, KC, Kamadan, etc and you'll get a pop-up message saying "Talk to so and so to gain access to Eye of the North".

To clarify: The whole Eye of the North section of the game of the game is on the same map as Prophecies, the original game. The largest parts are located in the mountains north of Yaks Bend and Ascalon area and then south of the Maguuma jungle area.
It is just unaccessible until you unlock it by doing the quest Spyder mentions.
From Lions Arch it will teleport you to new outpost north of the well known burnt Ascalon region.
Also, you can do similar quests to access it from Factions or Nightfall, they will take you to exactly same place.
From there you quickly get to the Eye of the North outpost (yes it has same name as the entire expansion) which is adjacent to the Hall of Monuments. Then you can enter your existing titles and achievements and start playing the EOTN storyline when you wish.

If you're not interested in playing Prophecies (or Factions, or Nightfall) and just want to get to EotN, you can buy a run to LA for 1-2k in Post-Searing Ascalon City. But you still have to be level 10 to gain access to EotN. Same applies to starting in NightFall, you can buy a ferry to Consulate Docks for a small sum and to LA for a little more. I'm afraid Factions can't be run, there's gates that don't open if a party member didn't do the proper quests and missions.

Somehow I have managed to reach level 11 without even playing much of the game, so I have the level requirement filled.

I am only 3 story missions away from LA so I think I will just continue along with the story missions.

@Urscumug - I don't have 1-2k :P

Thanks everyone for pointing me in the right direction.

It just takes a couple of hours to get to LA then, it's probably for the best you don't have the money, it would be a waste.
